Arise, Ready To Change Your World
Arise, Ready To Change Your World

There is a world in you that speaks to you, trying to discourage you from doing great things, and that world must be changed. The world within you—your brain, mind, concept, understanding, and limitations—also needs to be changed. Then, there is a world around you and beyond you that needs to be changed but can only be changed after you change the world in and within you.

1.   RECOGNIZING THE WORLD IN YOU TO BE CHANGED

Ecclesiastes 3:11; 7:29; Psalm 106:39; Mark 4:19; 1 Corinthians 1:20-21; Ephesians 2:2, 5, 8; 1 John 2:15-17.

Change begins in your life right there where you are.

ARISE: Acknowledge, Recognize Increasing Sins Everywhere

You need to arise and be concerned about our world’s increasing sins, idleness, laziness and iniquities. “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11). God created the world of vision, power, abilities and possibilities and put it in our hearts. “Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.” (Ecclesiastes 7:29). God put a world of good, power, authority, vision, and possibilities in the heart of man, but man changed that by seeking out many inventions. “Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.” (Psalms 106:39). This world of power that God put within us now became the world of impotence, blindness, and impossibilities because of sin. God wants us to start by recognising the world of crime and transgression within us that needs to be changed. “And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.” (Mark 4:19). At creation, God put everything in the world to care for us, but we have turned around to become concerned with the care of the world making the world in us a world of anxiety and pain. God gave us promises in His word, but when we focus on the cares of the world, it chokes the word in us. You must first change the world in you before you can change others. “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:” (Ephesians 2:2). The thinking of the world makes us think that we are alright because we are better than the lesser achievers around us. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” (Ephesians 2:8). When we come to Christ, he changes the world in us by saving us from sins, forgives our sins, and sets us free from sin by His grace. Christ also saves us from society. If you are saved from sin but still under the control of society, you cannot change the world because the world in you will remain unchanged. The power of the grace of

God will come into your life and save you from anything that is setting you back in Jesus’ Name. To experience this, you must recognize that those things will ruin your life and come to the Lord in repentance, and He will save you in Jesus’ Name.

2. REPENT OF THE WORLD WITHIN YOU RESISTING CHANGE

Romans 3:12-19; 7:19-20; 12:2; Luke 5:31-32; 24:44-47; Acts 5:30-31; 17:3031.

ARISE: Abandon Ruinous Imprisoning Substance Everyday

You must repent of the natural tendencies within you that resist change. “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2). We met the world the way it is—in crime, sin, and condemnation—but we must not be like the world. If you don’t change the world within you, trying to change the world outside will amount to nothing. When the change in you takes place, by the grace of God, the strength, vision, power, grace, and focus to change the world beyond you will happen in Jesus’ Name. It is very important to change the world within you before you can change the world beyond you. Whatever experience you have, something has to change inside you that takes away your self-centredness and makes you love other people, and then you can change the world.

3. READY, THE WORLD AROUND, BEYOND YOU TO BE CHANGED

Ephesians 5:15; Acts 9:6, 15, 20; Luke 15:18, 20; Matthew 5:16; Philippians 2:13-16; Psalm 37:3-5; Hebrews 8:5.

ARISE: Awake, Righteous, Impactful, Shining Expediently

Because the darkness and evil nature of sinfulness within you have been removed, now you can go ahead with the vision heaven gave you, the grace God gave you and the passion you have to change the world. Changing the world goes beyond changing the trees, the landscape, the rivers, or the system to changing the people of the world. Changing the people who live in the world means we change their unbelief to faith, darkness to light, hatred to love, earth-bound lifestyle to heavenbound, and their dark, rotten attitude to a good attitude. If we change the infrastructure and systems of the world but the people using the infrastructure do not change, it will be of no good to society. Saul of Tarsus, the persecutor, had power and letters of authority to persecute anyone, but he didn’t have a good heart, compassion, or gracefulness. “And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.” (Acts 9:6). After His encounter with Christ, he was humbled, and he had a changed life with the right attitude and proper perspective. After his encounter with Christ, his exhortation and preaching changed people, lives, and destinies. Paul wrote much of the New Testament because of the change the Lord had done in him. The Lord will do this for you through you in Jesus’ Name.
