ASSURED POWERFUL TRANSFORMATION THROUGH THE DIVINE TOUCH
Luke 7:13-17
“And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother. And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people. And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.” (Luke 7:13-17). The Lord told the woman to weep no more. He says the same thing to you today because He will save your soul, remove all the pain in your life, bless your family and heal your sickness. Weep not! Christ has come to dry all the tears from your face. The woman had lost her only child to death, and they were going to bury the child who was her joy, heartthrob and future provider. She didn’t have any husband, or heritage in this life, and they were going to bury her hope, but she met Christ, and her hope was restored. The day you meet Christ, your buried hope, destiny, aspiration and ambition will come alive. As you come to Christ, He tells you, weep not! Jesus touched the coffin carrying the lifeless body of the woman’s son and the people carrying the coffin stood still. As Jesus spoke to the dead body to arise, He speaks to you today and you will arise from your sin, bondage and lost hope. By the action of Christ, the woman would no more weep, and by the action of the Lord in your life, you will know no more weeping. Christ delivered hope, joy and happiness back to the woman. The Lord comes to present the joy of your life to you. You are destined for divine touch, and you cannot miss the touch of salvation, healing and deliverance. Your touch is guaranteed.
- ACCEPTING DECREED TRANSFORMATION THROUGH THE DIVINE TOUCH
Jeremiah 1:6-9,12; Daniel 10:18-19; Acts 12:6-11; 2 Kings 13:20-21
The people accepted the divine touch of Christ. When you accept the Lord, you will receive His transformation. When Christ touches you, there is a decree of transformation. You cannot have the divine touch and remain the same. Your life will be different; from sin, you will move to salvation, from weakness to strength, from sorrow to happiness and joy. Once you submit yourself to Christ and He touches your tongue, heart, life and everything within and without, the touch will make you a different person. “Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.” (Jeremiah 1:6-9,12). Many people confess that they cannot stand because they are crippled, others say they cannot live right because they are unrighteous, cannot speak well because they have an impairment, and cannot rise because something ties them down. Think about everywhere in your life the word ‘cannot’ comes in and replaces ‘I cannot’ with ‘I can’. The divine decree is upon you, and you will be free from every pattern of negativity in your family. Do not say you are inexperienced or incurable, or anything is impossible because everything that looks impossible will become possible. Are you attached to an idol that requires you to keep going to worship it? As you hear the voice of the Lord, be not afraid, a touch is coming in your life. All the decrees of the idol worshippers will be scattered. The Lord is putting forth His hand to touch your mouth and soul and there will be a transformation in your life. Sin finished, sickness finished, all the pain finished. Once you confess God’s word, salvation, healing and deliverance will run after you and rush into your life.
- AVOIDING THE DEVIL’S TOUCH AFTER THE DIVINE TOUCH
Job 1:11; 2:5; Genesis 3:3; 20:3-7,14,17-18; Isaiah 52:11; Proverbs 6:26-29,32
The Devil also touches people who go to Him. The devil is opposed to Christ, so as Christ has the touch of life, Satan has the touch of death, as Christ has the touch of salvation, Satan has the touch of sinfulness, as Christ has the touch of healing, the devil has the touch of sickness, as Christ has the touch of freedom, the devil has the touch of captivity and sickness. After the Lord has touched you, you want to avoid the devil’s touch after the divine touch. When God touches you, your life becomes brighter, your salvation gives you unending joy, He provides for all your needs, He blesses you all around and the devil will be envious and jealous as he was with Job. “But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.” (Job 1:11). Satan was so happy to touch what Job had, that he caused Job’s farm to get destroyed and made him lose all that he had but Job proved the devil a liar, and you will prove the devil a liar because as Job did not curse God, you will not curse God. “But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.” (Job 2:5). Again, Job was going to prove the devil a liar. Satan says you will not be saved, but God says you will be saved. Satan says you will partake of the curse in your family, but God says Satan is a liar, and that curse will not affect you. As Job proved Satan a liar, so you will prove Satan a liar. In the case of Eve, she surrendered to the devil but as the saved man or woman that you are, you are stronger than that, and you will not surrender to the suggestion of the devil. Anything that will make the devil put his hand to grab and touch you, the Lord will take it away by His grace and power. As we come to receive the divine touch, we run away from Satan and his suggestions because he is looking for a way to touch us after the divine touch. If Satan has touched you already, the power of the Lord will set you free in Jesus name.
- ARISING WITH DECISIVE TRIUMPH BY THE DIVINE TOUCH
Acts 3:6-10,16; 9:33-35; Ephesians 5:11-14; Isaiah 52:2,7,11
Remember what the Lord had told you, Weep Not! Because this sickness is not unto death, and you will arise. As they carried the only son of the widow to the burial, Jesus stopped them. Jesus stops the people who are going to bury your hope or stop the happiness in your marriage, or the joy of progress in your life. Weep not, dry the tears away and you will experience a turning point in your life. “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God: And all the people saw him walking and praising God: And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” (Acts 3:6-10,16). Silver and gold can buy a bed but cannot buy sleep, they can buy a house but cannot provide a home, can buy books but cannot buy a brain, can buy food but cannot transfer the nutrients to the body. You need more than silver and gold. What silver and gold cannot do; the touch of God will do in your life. The man had never walked since he was born but he started walking after the decree of Peter. By the touch of the Lord, you will receive strength, salvation and triumph in your life. If a doctor or psychologist had been there in Acts chapter 3, he would have confirmed to the people that not only did the man’s feet and ankle bones receive strength, but the man’s heart, brain, mind and spinal cord also received strength. You’re lifted up in Jesus name.
