Loose Him and Let Him Go

Liberation Commanded and Confirmed in Heaven by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

TEXT: Matthew 16:15-19; 18:18-20.

“He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.” (Matthew 16:15-20). Whenever you answer the question about who Christ is by affirming that He is the Son of the Living God, He will bring upon you the same blessing He brought upon Peter. Once you accept the revelation of the Father from heaven about Christ that He is the Christ, the Liberator, and the Redeemer, the blessing of heaven will come upon you immediately. Whatsoever, whensoever, wheresoever you bind or loose anything on earth, it will be done in heaven. “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 18:18). You must do whatever you hear that Christ says unto you, and when you do so, Christ who is watching in heaven will confirm it. He will set you free in your body, soul, and mind.

1.     THE CROSS FOR OUR LIBERATION FROM EVIL

John 19:4-6,19,30; Ephesians 2:16-18; Colossians 2:14-15; 1 Peter 2:24.

Christ died on the cross, and before He breathed His last, He said, ‘It is finished.’ Your problems are finished, your yoke is broken, and your life is set free in Jesus Name. Everything that comes from the devil, from demons, and from Satan who is the enemy of your soul is evil. “Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.” (John 19:4). Christ had no fault or sin of Himself, but He was crucified because He had to carry the load of your sin, sickness, damnation, condemnation on the cross. “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed  his  head,  and  gave  up  the  ghost.”  (John  19:30).  Christ  has  finished  your sins, sickness, suffering, shame, shackles, and chains on the cross, and now you are free. “And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body  by  the  cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.” (Ephesians 2:16-18). There was enmity between man and God because God is holy while man is rebellious. Christ came to take away the enmity between us and God, and as you turn around to God, you will see the face, favour, power, salvation, and healing of God in your life. No one can have peace without Christ the Prince of Peace. It is through Christ that both Jews and Gentiles have access to God because it is the same road that leads to the peace of God, forgiveness, healing, and the blessings of God. There is no traffic jam on the expressway that leads to God. “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (1 Peter 2:24). When Christ takes your sins away, He puts them in the depths of the sea, and they will never come back to accuse you or torment your life anymore in Jesus Name. Christ gives unto us the power to live in righteousness because when He took our sin, He gave us His righteousness, He took our penalty and gave us His justification, He took our pollutions and gave us total purity; when He took away what we had, He gave us what He had. Jesus takes our stripes and suffering and gives us His health so that we will be as healthy as your Healer. You will be as free as the one that frees you, as mighty and powerful as the one that gives you the strength, power, and might. You are loosed from sin, sickness, and suffering; you are free.

2.    THE CONDITION OF YOUR LIBERATION FROM EVERYTHING

Matthew 18:24-27; 9:13; Acts 3:19-21, 26; 17: 30-31.

Human helpers help us with one item of request at a time, but when you come to Christ, He liberates you from the power of darkness, disease, and demons; He liberates you from everything. “But go ye and learn what  that  meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the  righteous,  but sinners  to  repentance.”  (Matthew  9:13). As we come to the crusade, we learn what Christ wants us to do to be liberated from everything. Christ has paid all the price or sacrifice for your healing and everything is credited to your account. You cannot pay for salvation, healing, deliverance, and grace that comes from heaven. Christ did not come for the religious, but He came to call sinners to repentance. When you repent, you turn away from the law of sin, the life of sinfulness, and from everything that is evil, and you turn to the Lord. “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send  Jesus  Christ,  which  before  was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the  mouth  of  all  his  holy  prophets since the world began.” (Acts 3:19-21). Conversion means there is a change in your outlook, in your mind, and in your heart to become like Christ. The times of refreshing will take you away from the life of dryness and weariness. All the promises of salvation, forgiveness, healing, deliverance, and restoration that God has given since the world began are yours now in Jesus Name. “Unto you first  God,  having  raised  up  his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.”  (Acts  3:26).  Without  sin,  there  would  be  no  sickness,  without  iniquity, the would be no infirmity, without disobedience there would be no disease; but Jesus came to turn us away from sin and all the consequences of sin. “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.” (Acts 17:30- 31). The sinner continues in sin because he is ignorant of the consequences of sin, but when the sinner comes to Christ, He will forgive him and heal him from the consequences of his actions in his times of ignorance. Repentance should be between you and the Lord, but those who refuse to repent will be judged by the Lord in the presence of the whole world.

3.    THE CONFIRMATION OF TOTAL LIBERATION FROM HEAVEN

Matthew 16:19; 18:18; Mark 2:5,9-12; Luke 13:11-13,16.

“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose  on  earth  shall  be  loosed  in  heaven.”  (Matthew  16:19).  We  have  been  given the key to the Name of Jesus, the mercy of the Lord, of the promise of God, and of the invitation of the Lord, and whatever we bind or loose on earth will be confirmed in heaven. “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 18:18). Since Jesus has said, ‘Verily,’ there must be no doubt in your heart as to whether the Lord will answer your prayer or not. Tonight is your night of miracles, and the Lord will loose you from the chains of sin. Christ will do for you tonight what you could not do by yourself.
