THE UNFAILING POSSIBILITIES OF GOD’S UNCHANGING POWER

THE UNFAILING POSSIBILITIES OF GOD’S UNCHANGING POWER
GOD’S UNCHANGING POWER

Matthew 19:26; Luke 1:34-38

The unfailing possibilities have been happening from ages past and it is still active today. “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). His word was true in the past, and it is still true today. Everything impossible with man is possible with God. When God comes into your life, He takes complete control and gives you answers to everything you need and everything you will ever pray for. “Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:34-37). it is important that you understand that with God, all things are possible. What do you desire? What are your expectations? Be assured that with God nothing is impossible.

1.          THE GENEROUS PROMISES OF GOD TO SAVE

Isaiah 45:21-22; Romans 10:9-13; 2 Peter 3:9

“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else” (Isaiah 45:22). Anywhere you are on the surface of the earth, the generous promises of God will reach you there. Man is limited in what he can do, but nothing is impossible with God. Look away from man and fix your eyes on Jesus who has promised us everlasting life. Are you drowning in the sea of sin and condemnation? Don’t listen to people when they say that you have gone too far in sin to merit God’s forgiveness, or that you are too weak to receive strength, rather look unto Jesus and claim your salvation. It takes one look at the Saviour Jesus Christ, trust in His salvation, faith in His sacrifice on the cross of Calvary, and you will be saved. Personal suffering does not bring salvation, neither does fleshly sacrifice and depravation; salvation comes only through faith in Christ. Some people cause physical harm to themselves in a bid to pay for salvation, but these are all futile sufferings. Salvation has been bought with the price of the blood of Jesus and made available freely for all to benefit. Take your gaze away from every other option and look up to the Saviour who has all power to save.

2.          THE GENUINE POWER OF GOD THAT HEALS

Matthew 8:16-17; Luke 6:17-19; Acts 10:38,43

God is the one who created the body, and He is the same God who has the power to heal and repair the body. The creator who is also the manufacturer and maker of man will touch you and heal you. “When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:” (Matthew 8:16). Many people were brought to Christ and He healed them all. The large number of people in need of healing does not reduce the potency of Christ’s healing power. At the mention of the name of Jesus, there is mass healing for every sickness and every person who believes, there is mass salvation for as many who come. There is a call for you to believe in a God who created the world by the word of His mouth. The same power in His world that brought creation to being is the same power that brings spectacular miracles and healing. “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” (Matthew 8:17). Since we know that Christ is unchanging, all the earth can look up to Him for salvation and healing. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever: because of who He is and what He is, you can look to Him for total healing.

3.          THE GENTILES’ PERCEPTION OF GOD IN ALL SINCERITY

Matthew 8:5-13; 15:21-28; Acts 13:47-49

“For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth”

(Acts 13:47). Jesus bore all our pains, He took our place and suffered for us to get salvation free of charge. You don’t have to dress like a Jew, step on the holy land, take holy water from Jordan, or visit the place where Jesus was crucified to seek salvation. “And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed” (Acts 13:48). The Gentiles were happy when they realized that there was no need for them to become like the Jews to qualify for salvation. In the same way, there is no need to suffer in silence, just come as you are, whatever you have and whatever you do cannot procure salvation from sin. Whatever religion you belong to and whatever fear you have concerning the future and the impending judgement, Jesus says, “Come!”. No matter the large number of people seeking salvation from sin, there is forgiveness and freedom for each one. “And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region” (Acts 13:49). Many Gentiles were locked up in their beliefs, they had been held down in sin for too long because they thought that they had to accept the religion of the Jews to be saved. But when they heard and saw other Gentiles getting saved and having their lives transformed, they quickly opened their hearts to receive. This was how the gospel was proclaimed in every region. As you take the bold step to receive the salvation of Christ today, with the healing that He offers, your testimony will be an encouragement to others and the news of God’s promises to save, heal and deliver, will get to every region. Be rest assured that your salvation is guaranteed, your healing is guaranteed, as you perceive His unfailing promises and you believe that His salvation is yours, you will receive. “Come!” is a word of action, it is a command to step out of the crowd and look unto Jesus for salvation. Perceive, believe, and receive today.
