UNIQUE SALUTARY PEACE THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST
Text: Luke 2:10-14
At this special GCK, you will not miss your miracles. “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:10-14). An angel came from Heaven to those shepherds at night and announced to them what they have been seeking and praying for. ‘All your fears are taken away when Christ, the Saviour and Peace comes into your life’ (Pastor (Dr) W.F Kumuyi). The arrival of Jesus dispels all anxieties regarding the past, present, and future. Do not be afraid; Jesus will save your soul, provide you peace, bring you into the right relationship with Heaven, take away your mountain, and provide a solution to your issue. You will benefit from this wonderful joy, salvation, and miracle. The Savior who can free you from sin and all the things that have restricted your life has come to you. Glory to God for the calmness, the happiness from Heaven, the forgiveness, the wonderful freedom He gives us, the power from Heaven, and the wonders you will experience today. Peace be upon us on earth. Your house, life, and surroundings will all be at peace. Salvation brings with it exceptional tranquillity. Through believing in Him, you can experience this serenity.
- ANNOUNCING THE GOOD NEWS OF PEACE
Luke 2:10-14; Isaiah 52:6-7,10; Romans 10:15-17; Ephesians 6:15-17.
The wonderful news of peace is being announced by an angel from heaven to everyone in all countries. To inform everyone on earth that the Father in Heaven is sending that peace we could not have by ourselves and that it is for all people, God sent an angel from Heaven to Earth.
You are aware of His Name as the One who saves, heals, and breaks every yoke. Tonight, it is He who is calling to you. Peace will enter your life through His message and voice. The Lord comes to bring you peace, and as you allow the Lord to reign in your life and enter it, God’s peace will rule in your life. There won’t be peace if there isn’t peace. turbulence and difficulties will be part of your existence. Yet once you experience God’s peace, it will change the course of your life and fill your heart and mind. Your daily activities, interpersonal relationships, and interactions will all be peaceful at that point. There will be peace tonight in all nations and hearts. Once you allow the Lord to enter your heart, you will experience an abundance of peace. Peace will rule in your heart; peace with God, with man, from above and on earth.
“And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:15-17). If the preachers of peace have beautiful feet, then those with the gospel of hatred and fighting, their feet are ugly. But before you preach, you need to possess, and then your feet, heart, face, and life will be beautiful. And to link up with God, access the peace of God, to hook up with the peace and salvation of God, we need faith. That we forget ourselves and look up to Christ. It is that faith makes you have an expectation to receive His salvation and peace. With peace, there will be salvation, healing, deliverance, and the miracle of God will flow into your life freely. And as you come to Christ tonight, the Prince of Peace will reign in your heart and life.
- ACKNOWLEDGING THE GREAT NEED OF PEACE
Romans 5:1-2,12,17-18; Acts 10:36,38; Romans 14:17,19; 16:20.
The most significant aspect of your life must be what God has brought, and this must be acknowledged in your heart. You are right when you say that you need peace with God, with yourself, and with your neighbors. This is a need we both share. We lose a lot when we are at odds with our neighbors. If we don’t live in peace with our helpers, caregivers, donors, and providers, they can’t help us. ‘Life will be miserable if we don’t have peace with the people around us. And God cannot accept us into heaven if we don’t have peace with Him. Your life on earth will be lonely without peace with others. Nobody can live peacefully on earth without happy reconciliation with people’ (Pastor (Dr) W.F Kumuyi). So, you need to acknowledge the great of peace in your life. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God” (Romans 5:1-2). Our conscience and character argue against us, and God found us guilty. The guilty and judged sinner will spend all of eternity in hell. Yet, Christ—the Perfect, Sinless, and Spotless One—came to take the punishment for our sins as our Lord, Saviour, and Advocate. He comes to receive our just compensation for all the wrongdoing we have committed. We are now at peace with God. There is no other way to find peace besides through Christ Jesus. We are to have complete, unwavering faith in Christ, on whom we are to rely, rest, and place all the weight of our sin. Sociology or humanistic philosophy won’t bring you into heaven; only harmony with God will. “The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:). How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” (Acts 10:36,38). Peace by Jesus Christ, for He, is the Lord of all in all nations and communities. And as you confess Him as Lord and Saviour, every problem of your life, He will take away. ‘Whenever we mention the Name of Jesus, God looks in our direction and grants us peace, salvation, healing, deliverance, and miracles’ (Pastor (Dr) W.F Kumuyi). And nobody can block the way of Christ coming to you tonight. And He comes with the power of God to turn everything around in your life and family. “And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen” (Romans 16:20). Tonight the God of peace will bruise Satan shortly under your feet, and He will grant you pardon, peace and power as you stand to pray from tonight. And you will trample upon all sicknesses and will leave here with a life of victory and peace in Jesus Name.
- ADVANCING IN GOD’S NATURE OF PEACE
2 Peter 1:3-4; Hebrews 2:14-17; Ephesians 2:3-5; Mark 1:14-15,25-26.
This nature is one of peace, not one of conflict and bloodshed. And the Lord imparts this same quality of serenity into our life as we come to know Him. Without this aspect of God, we will be going backwards rather than forward, but when we have this aspect of God, He advances us and helps us move forward in life. You will progress, climb, stand up, and go forward. Do not worry; you will succeed! When the children of Israel faced the Red Sea, Moses, acting on God’s command, split the sea in two. As a result, the children of Israel advanced toward the promised land rather than turning around and returning to Egypt. You believe the Lord, and you will move forward in the direction of your breakthrough, promised land, and promises of God. “Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:14-15). Jesus is present just where you are. The moment has come for you to experience your inner peace, God’s forgiveness, the Lord’s might, God’s protection and preservation, and God’s fulfilment of His promise to grant us peace. While there is oppression, depression, and imposed suffering in the kingdom of man, there is peace, an abundance of love, forgiveness, and the breaking of all yokes in the kingdom of God. There is also redemption, deliverance, and healing. The kingdom of God has already arrived, and once that happens, the kingdom of Satan and this world will no longer exist in your life. You must now decide whether to stay in the kingdom of man with all of it. The decision is now yours: do you want to leave the kingdom of darkness and enter the kingdom of God so that tonight you can experience peace, joy, deliverance, health, and healing, the provision of God, salvation, and readiness for heaven? Or do you want to stay in the kingdom of man with all the bad things and suffering? You’ll decide on the heavenly supply, peace, and God’s kingdom! All you have to do is turn from your sins and accept Christ’s gospel. You are currently experiencing the serenity of God; as a result, God will be glorified through your life, and you will spend eternity in heaven with Him. You must repent and believe the good news!
