Loose Him and Let Him Go

Sinners and Saints, Loosed by Grace for Glory- Pastor W. F.Kumuyi

Text: Psalm 105:20; Romans 15:4.

“The king sent and loosed  him; even  the ruler of the people, and let him  go free.”  (Psalms  105:20).  “For  whatsoever  things  were  written  aforetime  were written for our learning, that we through patience and  comfort  of  the scriptures   might   have   hope.”   (Romans   15:4).   The   things   written   in   the   Old Testament were written for our learning. I have hope that what has been written concerning you will be fulfilled in Jesus Name. If you are bound by any chain or shackle, you are loosed tonight in Jesus Name.

1.                   THE PICTURE OF SOULS SOLD TO SLAVERY

1 Kings 21:20, 25; Isaiah 52:3,11; Romans 7:14-20; Hebrews 12:15-17.

Joseph was sold to strangers by his brothers; this is the picture of everyone who has been sold into slavery. “And Ahab said to Elijah, Hast  thou  found  me,  O  mine enemy? And he answered, I have found thee: because  thou  hast  sold  thyself  to work evil in the sight of the  LORD.”  (1  Kings  21:20). When you are sold to slavery you will not be able to do anything until the deliverance,  freedom,  and  liberation comes. “For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.” (Romans 7:14). When someone sells themselves, they are sold to sin like Adam and Eve sold themselves and the people that came after them to sin  and  then  to  the serpent, Satan. People today still sell themselves to sin, to Satan, to  slavery,  to substance, to sensuality, to secret society. But as you come to the Lord, He will deliver you and break every yoke in your life in  Jesus Name. “For  that  which  I  do  I  allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I  that  do  it,  but  sin  that  dwelleth  in  me.”  (Romans  7:15-17). You cannot be sold to Satan and to the Saviour at the same time. You cannot indulge in sensuality and claim you have salvation at the same time; one must go. Those who  are  sold  into slavery do not have control over what they do, but the slave driver  controls  their actions to do what they know to be wrong.

2.                   THE PRINCE SENT TO SET SINNERS FREE

Psalm 105:20; Isaiah 9:6; Acts 3:15-16; Acts 5:30-31.

The Lord has come to save all those who have come under slavery to sin, Satan, substance, sensuality, and secret cult.  “The  king  sent  and  loosed  him;  even  the ruler  of  the  people,  and  let  him  go  free.”  (Psalms  105:20). The King of kings and Lord of lords has sent the Prince of life, the Prince of peace, and the Prince with all authority and power to set you free. If you believe that Christ has come to do what you  cannot do for yourself, He will set you free from  every power that is controlling your actions. The Lord lets you go free from the bondage of the past and from the punishment of all the slavery you’ve been in. As the Lord loosed Joseph to promote him, you will be promoted, and He will bring you out of the dungeon of guilt, condemnation, and helplessness. “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father,  The Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6). Christ is the Prince sent by God, the King in heaven. You are so significant in the sight of the Lord that He sent His Son to die for you, therefore you should place a high price on yourself and not sell yourself to slavery. The God of heaven has put such a great value upon us that Christ who lived a perfect, sinless, and spotless life eventually went to Calvary to die for us. God gave the greatest Counsellor that heaven can produce for you even when you were carnal. You were mean because of the slave master who controlled your life, but the Lord sent the Mighty God to deliver you. He sent the Everlasting Father to save you when your life was full of fruitlessness and futility. God says you are too precious to be lost, you will not be lost because the Prince of Peace has been sent to save you, rescue you, turn your life around, and wipe away everything that has made your life valueless and worthless in the past.

3.                   THE PROMOTION OF SONS SET FREE THROUGH SALVATION

Psalm 105:21-22; Colossians 1:13-14; Ephesians 2:12, 19; 1 John 3:1-9.

The promotion, upliftment, and liberation that Christ brought is for you. No more slavery, sin, Satan, sensuality, fornication, adultery, or lasciviousness in your life; tonight, you are free. The was a promotion for Joseph, there is a promotion for the justified and a promotion for the just. “He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance: To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.” (Psalms 105:21-22). If you have given yourself to a secret society, you will never come out of slavery until Christ the Prince comes to set you free. As you surrender your life to Christ, you will become a lord in the land; the Lord will promote you and make you a leader, ruler, governor, and someone who will be above all the common people in Jesus Name. From tonight, you will not be ordinary, you will become extraordinary; you will not be common, you will be uncommon; and you will immediately come from the dungeon of darkness into the place of destiny. The time of fulfilment begins today for every dream the Lord has given you. If you have Jesus, every bad thing they say about you is reversed in Jesus Name. As you come out of slavery, you will come to the level of leadership and be lifted above the people who put you in prison. As you surrender yourself to Jesus, the dream maker, the pain taker, and the way maker, tonight will be your night of salvation, forgiveness, and liberation. As you have taken part in the preaching, you will take part in the performance.
