THE UNDENIABLE POSSIBILITIES OF “THY FAITH” IN CHRIST
Mark 9:23; Romans 10:17
There are undeniable possibilities through faith in Christ. ‘Undeniable’ denotes something clear and visible, such that when people see you they can clearly see the miracle that has been done in your life. The people who received miracles in the Bible had their personal faith, and they knew that as God was no respecter of persons, they would receive their miracles. “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” (Mark 9:23).
Christ would have said the same thing to you today. If you were coming to Christ and you had pains, tears, and sorrows, what Jesus said to the man is what He would have said to you because He remains the same, yesterday and forever. Christ is by your side and all He asks of you is to believe in Him. How do we have the faith to receive all possibilities in Christ? “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17). The word of God that comes to you produces faith in you. You do not lean on your feelings but on the assurance of God’s word. The word of God will produce faith in your heart. If you can only believe, a miracle will land at your doorstep.

INCREDIBLE HEALING POSSIBLE THROUGH “THY FAITH” Mark 5:34,25-30; James 5:15-16; 2 Peter 1:3-4 |
God will not change in your own time. When you offer prayer to the Lord, He will answer. Incredible healing comes to you in an undeniable way as you believe in the Lord. “And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?” (Mark 5:34,25-30). Your faith attracts and draws miracles from heaven. No matter how long your problem has been there, they will be removed by faith in Jesus Christ today. The woman with the issue of blood had gone to various doctors but she did not give up in her search for healing, and she came to the final place where she would be healed.
She heard of Jesus and acted in going to where Jesus was. She didn’t go to touch the disciples’ garments or Mary’s garments; she went to the Source of her miracle. Jesus is the Source of our healing and miracles. You must have faith in Christ like this woman, knowing that as you touch the Lord, healing will come to you. Immediately you hear the name of Jesus pronounced against your predicament, you will get the desired miracle in Jesus name.
“ And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:15-16). It is only the prayer of faith we pray. We don’t pray the prayers of unbelief and doubt. As we pray in faith, the Lord who always does what He says will answer us. It is important to confess our sins so that sin will not block our miracles. When someone has sinned in his life and covers that up, the Lord will not hear him. the Pharisees did not get salvation because they did not confess their own sins, they were more interested in other people’s sins. As we confess our sins, we must go and sin no more. It is those who confess and forsake their sins and put their faith in the atonement of Jesus that will get saved.
It is the virtue of Christ that brought healing to the woman, and that virtue is still present today. “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2 Peter 1:3-4). The Lord has given us all things through Jesus Christ. When He saves us, we are not called to do disgraceful and defiling things anymore, He calls us to glory and virtue. When He saves us, He takes away the nature of Satan and man and replaces that with His nature.
2. | IMPAIRED SIGHT PERFECTED THROUGH “THY FAITH” Mark 10:52,46-52; James 1:6-8; Luke 24:31-32 |
Everything is anchored on faith. “And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called.
And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.” (Mark 10:52,46-52). Christ still says the same things to us today, “thy faith has made thee whole.” If you want to receive any miracle from the Lord, all you have to do is have faith in God. Blind Bartimaeus was a beggar before Christ touched him, but after he received his healing he didn’t go back to begging. When Christ touches us, the past is gone.
We do not go back to our previous lifestyles and practices after the Lord touches us. As Bartimaeus was coming to Jesus, people tried to shut him up but he refused to be silenced. As you seek the Lord, don’t allow anyone to silence you. Jesus stood still for the man as he called upon the Lord. Jesus will stand still for you as you call upon Him because he won’t leave until He blesses us. All you need to do is come to Jesus, and salvation, healing and deliverance will come to you.
The man was specific in his request to the Lord, he asked for sight and the Lord confirmed his healing by telling him to “go thy way because thy faith has made thee whole.” All we need to do is to ask the Lord in faith. “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” (James 1:6). We come to the Lord, not by our feelings or in fear but by faith.
INSTANTANEOUS SALVATION, POSSIBLE THROUGH “THY FAITH Luke 7:50,37-38,47-48; 2 Corinthians 7:10; Romans 10:9-10 |
Everything you receive from the Lord is through thy faith. Instantaneous salvation is possible by faith. When a child is born into this world, he is not born in bits, he is born at an instant time. So, we are not being born again, rather we become born again at a definite time when we put our faith in Christ and repent of our sins.
“And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.” (Luke 7:50,37-38,47-48). Faith is required for healing and salvation. It is only when you come to Christ that you can get salvation, there is no salvation in any other person.
The woman came to Jesus weeping, being sorrowful for her sins. As we consider the suffering of the Lord Jesus, we realize the magnitude of our sins, and we become sorrowful for sin. As this woman came to the Lord, she wept, and Jesus forgave her all her many sins. When Jesus forgives your sins, you receive the joy of salvation. “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.” (2 Corinthians 7:10). Godly sorrow makes us realize our ungodliness and leads us to repentance. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10). We don’t believe unto corruption and defilement but we believe unto righteousness and salvation. Salvation and righteousness go together and “what God has joined together, let no man put asunder.” As you confess your sins and put your faith in Christ Jesus, you will receive His salvation.
