COPYING, NOT COPYING OUT, FOR CREDIBLE CONTRIBUTION.

TEXT: NUMBERS 13:28,30-33; DEUTERONOMY 1:28-32.

We are coming to a study of people that God lifts up, it’s from the Old Testament scripture.  The Lord promised to impact that nation And that nation is the land of Israel. God interrupted them with the miracle of deliverance. They were slaves to the land of Egypt but they were interrupted from the land of slavery. God interrupted them with the message of deliverance out of mediocrity, He was going to bring them out of Egypt.

And they came back with evil report, they said, nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover, we saw the children of Anak there.

Tonight, you will cope. It’s not what you see that stops you but it’s what you think that stops you. It’s not what you see that stops you, but it’s your imagination, you have what you say. All the miracles will mean nothing if you don’t take action. All the promises of God will amount for nothing if you don’t take action. There are times when you need to rise up and take action, but if you don’t take action and you miss that time, you might wait another year. We can cope. If you don’t put yourself in the mode of the people that are running, you cannot cope. Don’t make a profession of I cannot, when you see somebody that has the same goal with you and they are going up but you are there saying you cannot, you might not get up and run like them. For the children of Israel, their language, their thoughts, their mind set, the possibility in their brains, and  their imagination limited them. God has given you all the strength you need to live a life you ought to live,  you cannot compare yourself with other person, if Moses was able to do what God has called him to do, you can do what God has called you to do. Don’t say you cannot, maybe yesterday you could not, but tomorrow when you thank God you can, you will and you must. When God expects that everything He has put in you, that you can rise up and achieve that, what God has prepared you to do you can do it. The evil report is when you tell lies about yourself and you belittle yourself and you depreciate yourself and then you say you cannot. That is an evil report, sometimes we always lift up above other people even then we are and we put down ourselves beyond measure, that is not humility but an evil report. Exaggeration is an evil report, some people exaggerate and they want to remain mediocre, I am a creature of God and I am a product of Christ, I am a conqueror, I am a victor, I am not a grasshopper. The Lord will make more than a giant and more than a conqueror in you IN Jesus Name. Imagination kills a lot of people. Don’t allow imagination to kill you. This word of God you’re hearing now will have an impact on your life in Jesus Name.

POINT 1: THE COURAGE TO COPE AT THE CROSSROADS.

JOSHUA 1:5-9; 23:6-8; PSALMS 31:14-16,24; 27:4,8,10,14.

God gave Joshua an assignment in the continuation of assignment of Moses. He was the one to lead the children of Israel to the promised land and God said no-one will be able to stand in his way, but not when he goes back to the land of Egypt. Understand that if you go back to the place, you don’t have an assignment, Pharaoh will stand and crush you. But the moment you stay forward on the way to the promised land, as God was with Moses every time He will be with God. God said unto Joshua, as He was with Moses every time even when Moses faced what he didn’t think he will face, He said he’ll be with him and He will not fail him. God will not fail you too.

The Lord is saying, with all the getting you get and with all the good things you get, courage is very important. Don’t panic, don’t fear, let there be no negative confession, be strong and very courageous and God will take you to a higher level. When you have courage, you’re able to cope. Those children of Israel came to the crossroad and on the crossroads not all of them were able to cope. The Lord has put something in every heart to do.

In what areas do we cope?

✔️ We cope under peculiar predicaments. There may be peculiar predicaments you have and it seems you always tired and fed up, the moment you start something you just lose interest, the Lord will give you courage, you will cope.

✔️ We cope under peer pressure. Your classmates, your peers, and the people that are thinking of your life may pressurize you but you will cope. If they pressure you not to climb up, you will cope. If you’re doing what others cannot do and they put pressure on you because of that, you will cope. Your peers will not hinder you to achieve what God has given you to achieve. You will be strong and you will go through life with courage IN Jesus Name.

✔️ We cope with Personal perceptions. In the lives of the children of Israel, they perceived they were grasshoppers, that’s their personal perception, they perceived they were unlucky, that’s their personal perception. In such a time like this, that is the time you need to cope.

✔️ We cope with powerful personalities. The people who are very difficult are powerful personalities. They will try to bring you down when you try to climb up. All the people that bind you not to enter into the promised land, you will cope in spite of that, you will enter into your promised land. Those powerful personalities will not hinder you. With the understanding of “I CAN COPE “, all the Jericho walls before you will fall down flat, just have a triumphant walk around.

✔️ We cope Pervasive pollution. There’s corruption everywhere, and anywhere the Lord has ordained that you will be, you will cope.

✔️ We cope in the Present of Pandemics. You will walk into your vision; the Lord will make you shine and make you overcome.

✔️ We cope Prophetic performance. In the midst of prophetic performance going on you will cope. They might prophesy evil things will happen, they might prophesy that there will be a difficult time, but you will cope. The Lord will send you help, He will send you power, He will send you provision from nowhere. Whatever the prophetic transition around you, you will cope. If they say this year is going to be tough, you will cope. To cope, you have to have a courage of going to God to reverse every prophetic performance. You have a dream, go back to God and don’t accept negative prophecy, everything the Lord has ordained that you will do, you will do before you go. You will achieve before you go. Those are the people that cope, they don’t see darkness, all they see is God in heaven.

POINT 2:  THE CONSEQUENCE OF COPPYING OUT/DROPPING OUT WITH COWARDS.

NUMEBRS 13:20,26-28,30-33; 14:21-24; PSALMS 78:9-11,37,41; HEBREWS 10:38-39.

There are people that always say the problem, the slope of the hill is so high beyond what they are expected and they drop out, they cope out and there’s consequence for that.

▶Avoid challenges. If there’s any challenge in their career and in wherever the Lord has called them to be they drop out. We are to avoid that.

▶ They abandon convictions. There are things that challenge your conviction but you must not abandon your conviction. This work of impact the Lord has planted and don’t abandon your conviction, He planted the conviction in our hearts, if you find yourself abandoning your conviction, that is coward.

▶Abase their conscience. They forget their integrity and honesty; they seared their conscience and they abase their conscience.

▶ They accept corruption. They should shout and pray in the church that God should take corruption away, but they can’t stand in the front runner, they accept corruption in their office and then they compromise. They accept and approve corruption, they affirm corruption. That’s the characteristics of cowards. The cowards accept corruption.

▶ Acquire more cowardice.

▶ They abide in crooked character. The Lord wants to make them real example everywhere, but because of the tendency and habit of copying out they abide in crooked character.

▶ Attract condemnation from the Creator. They are the people that cannot make it in life, don’t be in their company. Cowards are knock down, they never make it because they turn back and brought God to their level. They say what they cannot do, God cannot do, they say what they cannot face, God cannot face. But now as we come to the New Testament, we are walking by faith, you will overcome, unbelief will not hinder you. If anyone draw back, the soul of God shall have no pleasure in them. There’s initial, ongoing and final salvation and as you keep on believing the Lord, He will give you courage in all ramifications.

POINT 3 : OUR CONNECTION WITH THE CONQUEROR FOR NEW CREATION.

MATTHEW 4:19-20; ROMANS 6:18,22; 8:37; 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17; REVELATION 21:5-7.

Plug into the socket of heaven and your light will brighten out. It’s the connection and it’s not your age, it’s not your IQ, it’s not your background, it’s not your parents and it’s not your community but it’s a connection with the Conqueror and once you make a connection tonight, all things will be possible in your life. All you need to do is to get a connection with unlimited Conqueror and with power. It’ll be so in your life. The Lord wanted to make you whatever the calling He has given you, all you need is to connect, you will follow the Lord, you will not be a failure, enemies will not trample you under their feet, the Lord will make you free to succeed. Every negative thing therapeuses to Adam and Eve He will reverse in your life, He will make you free. There’s the possibility of redemption and freedom, God is the One that took the initiative, He will do it for you. Forget the years of failure, forget the years of defeat, forget the years of rising and falling. Christ said, he that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. (Revelation 21:7). The Lord will be your God, He will transform your life. In your life He makes all things new, in this year, in the race you’re going to run, He makes all things new.

What are you going to have this year?

√ in this new year, you will have a new confession. If you will confess the Lordship of Jesus Christ, you will be saved.

√ in this new year, you will have a new conversion. Repent and be converted that your sins maybe blotted out when the time of refreshing shall come from God. There’s a new conversion coming to you today.

√ in this new year, you will have a new creation. If any man be in Christ he’s a new creature, old things are passed away behold all things are become new. In your life, in your thought, in your disposition, your relationship, your emotion that you always getting angry, old things are passed away.

√ in this new year, you will have a new companionship. In the past your companionship is from the negative side, but now you have a new companion and Jesus Christ is the new Companion. Because He overcame, you will overcome. Because He conquered, you will conquer and He comes to your life and makes you do what He want you to do.

√You will have a new consecration. If you have left the bad society, you will bring everything to the altar of the Lord and you will make a new consecration.

√You will have a new courage. Before, you always get tired or when you need to face a crowd there’s no courage. Now, a new courage comes into your life.

√You will have a new Conqueror. Now you will become a new conqueror. Some people only think they conquer mosquitoes and later they conquer cockroaches, but you will go beyond that because a new conqueror has come, now you will conquer mountains, a new conqueror and instead of conquering fly you will conquer unseen forces. Christ had a courage and He pass it to us. Keep on walking the unstoppable see difficulties and challenges and they hear criticism; they hear people that belittle them but they keep on walking. In your life you will keep on walking, whatever noise is coming from there, you will walk unto the place of destiny
