The 50- 20 Principles of Success by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

INTRODUCTION

Lord, lift me up so I can stand on mountains.

Lord, raise me up to walk on the high seas. I am strong when I am on your shoulders. Lord, raise me up to more than I can be. Lord, lift me up and let my strength be by faith in evils.

As higher plane than I have found. Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.

God bless you.

That’s how you discover the 50 20 Principle.

Genesis 50 20. But as for you, ye thought evil against me, but God main changed unto good to bring to pass as it is this day, to save much people alive.

The 50-20 Principle shows how God turns evil to good. The 50-20 Principle makes you to see God in action, that in all things that may happen,

1. 1.God is greater than all things.
2. God is greater than all problems.
3. God is greater than all your enemies.
4. God is greater than all your persecutors.
5. God is greater than all your mountains.
6. God is greater than all your difficulties.
7. God is greater than all people.

The 50 20 Principle shows us that when God wants to work, your enemies cannot hinder God. As God is taking you up, nothing will bring you down.

Romans 8:28, the fulfillment of these 50:20 Principle. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are they called according to his purpose. We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, and to all who are called according to his purpose. There is a prayer I want to read to you from the Bible. And this prayer I don’t want you to ever forget, because it’s going to be fulfilled in your life.

It’s in Psalm 28:9. I’m waiting for you to open it and you will mark it in your Bible. You will write it in your note. You’ll put it in your head, you’ll put it in your mind, you’ll put it in your spirit.

This prayer is for you. Save thy people and bless thine inheritance. Feed them also and lift them up forever. I needed an Amen there.

Save thy people, he will save you. Bless thine inheritance, he will bless you. Feed them also. He will feed you and lift them up. How long?

Forever. Lift them up forever. That even though people may think evil about you, that evil will not stand. I said the evil will not stand. And the 50 20 principles will work in your life.

That every negative thing, every evil scene will be torn into positive in Jesus name.

What parts are we going to have today in this 50:20 principle? Three parts

1. Begin.
2. Believe.
3. Behold
4. Begin with a God giving dream.

If you are going on a journey, you will visualize the destination. You will imagine the destination. You will picture the destination, the final end before you start the journey. You begin with a God given dream. As you are beginning your life, you think, you meditate.

You imagine. You visualize the goal that is set ahead of you. The dream that’s ahead of you. Begin with a God given dream.

2. Believe the God of good dreams.

Believe the God of good dreams. As you are walking through your life, you understand this dream was given by God. You believe God? Never forsake God.

That’s how the dream will be fulfilled.

3. Behold the go-getter .

Go-getter  the one that is staying at the goal post and is getting that thing and is catching that thing, and you be a goal getter in your life that is to have a goal and nothing is going to hinder you from getting it and achieving it. Behold the go-getter  and the great dreamer.

The go-getter and the dreamer. Let’s come back to:

1. Begin with a God giving dream.

Can I show you some people in the Bible that their lives were controlled by the dream they had the vision, they had the goal they had the ambition. They had:

• Joseph.
• Joshua.
• Josiah.
• Jeremiah.
• John the Baptist.
• Judge.
• John the Beloved.

As you understand that in your life if you’re going to walk straight to the goal, you’ll be like this, like Joseph, yet a God-given dream.

Genesis 37:5 ‘’ And Joseph dreamed a dream.’’ It was a dream given to him by God.

That’s the dream of becoming a prince, the dream of becoming a leader, the dream of becoming a director, the dream of becoming a governor, the governor of the land he was standing and every other person around touched down. And Joseph began with that dream.

2. The dream of Joshua.

The ambition, the goal, the destination of Joshua. Joshua, chapter one, verse six. ‘’Be strong and of a good courage. Born to this people shall thou divide for an inheritance the lunch which I swear unto their fathers.’’

The dream of getting to the promised land and the dream of taking other people to the promised land. He knew the number one thing in his life, the non-Negotiable, that he will not negotiate with anybody is to settle down in the promised land and make sure that every Israelite settled down in the promised land. The dream of Josiah in Second Kings, chapter 23:15: ‘’Moreover, the altar that was at Bethel and the high place which jiro from the son of Nevad, who made Israel to see, admit both that altar and the high place, he broke down and he bunched the high place and stumped it small to powder and bunched the group.’’

And as Josiah toned himself, he spied the sepulchre as an old English word. For he saw he caught eclipse of the sepulchre that was there in the mount. And he saint and took the bones out of the sepulchre and he punched them upon the altar and he polluted it according to the word of the Lord which the man of God proclaimed. Who proclaimed these words.

That’s a dream of a reformer. In your life you must have a dream. The dream of a reformer. Actually, the land was polluted before Josiah came and then a prophecy had gone on before Josiah that she will be a reformer now.

3. The dream of Jeremiah.

Have something to live for. Have something that you’re going to commit your life to. A dream, a goal, a vision, a destination, an ambition. Jeremiah 1:7: ‘’But the Lord said unto me, say not I am a child for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee and whatsoever I command thee, thou shalt speak. Be not afraid of their faces. Why and with thee to deliver thee, says the Lord.’’

 Then the Lord torch put forth his son and touch my mouth and said and the Lord said unto me, behold, I put my words in their mouth. See, I have this day said thee over the nations and over the kingdoms. Do you see that dream, that ambition, that goal?

I have said thee as a prophet, as a leader, as an instructor over the nations.

You see all these people we’re talking about; they had a dream either to be a prince or to be a governor, or to be a leader, or to take people to the promised land or to reform the land. All these examination malpractices we’re talking about, are you having any vision that God can use you to be a reformer of the educational system in your own country? Are you believing God that instead of just saying, I will not cheat, of course, we’re not going to cheat? Instead of just saying, I will not do it with them, yes, we’ll not do it with them.

Are you having the vision of becoming an educationist yourself? And then you get to the education, maybe you’ll become the commissioner of education or the minister of education in your own time, and then you already had in the dream, now I will be a reformer.

All this corruption they are talking about, all these malpractices they are talking about, I’m going to concentrate on my studies now. I will be a reformer and you will be. I said you will be. And then you see Jeremiah, the Lord said, I’ve set you over the nations, not even over one nation and over kingdoms. And he said, you’ll pull down anything that is not upright, pull it down. And the things that are standing for God, you build it up. These are people and their ambition and their vision was not a small circle. It was a big territory that circled and influenced many nations.

4. The dream of John.

John the Baptist in Luke chapter one. Luke 1: 13; ‘’ But the angel of the Lord said unto him fear not Zechariah for thy prayer is heard and thy wife believes shall be at his son. And thou shalt call his name John and thou shalt have joy and gladness. And many shall rejoice at his birth. For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb. And many of the children of Israel shall be torn to the Lord their God.’’

The dream of an evangelist you have is a dream that you will become a great evangelist. You’ve had of Billy Graham, maybe you’ve had of John Wesley, maybe you have heard of Spurgeon. Maybe you have heard of these great mighty people, Matthew, Henry, Adam, Clark, the people that shoot the whole Bible and they studied very well and they wrote a whole commentary on the whole Bible. Why not you? The dream of a great evangelist, the dream of a great pastor, the dream of a great missionary in verse 17.

And he shall go before him in the spirit and the power of Elias to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children. And then it says and it is appearing to the wisdom of the Jews to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. The dream of Jewish Jews, verse three in Jude, verse three. Here is the vision, here is the goalie at the destination in judge verse three. Beloved, when I give all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you that you should contend earnestly for the faith once delivered unto the saints the dream of bringing back the standard and keeping that standard.

That whether you are an evangelist, you are a pastor, you’re a preacher in the church. You have a dream, bring back the standard, uphold the standard, and keep the standard in the church. Or you’re an educationist. Bring back the standard in education and keep the standard in education. Or you are in the sciences and you have the dream of becoming a researcher.

That you are going to be doing research, bringing back the standard and keeping the standard or it is that you are going to be a medical doctor. And it is not just I’m a doctor, many doctors. We are talking of doctors with distinction, we’re talking of pharmacies with distinction. And then all these drugs that are outdated, all the drugs that cannot work anymore, that they’re just selling in the market, that you have the dream that you will be the one that will bring back the standard in medical science and you will keep the standard.

You understand when we’re talking about the computer engineers and you see all the fraud and all the things they are taking place in the computer system on the Internet and it tell us that the four one nine and the fraud and this and that and all the viruses you want to be a computer engineer?

Is he just to be able to preach a computer, able to put some things together? Why don’t you become somebody that will say my dream, my vision will be that although the computer, the Internet is there, I’m going to develop a system whereby I’m going to cage all this fraud and the crime that are committing over the Internet. Or maybe you want to specialize in this area of messing.

The World Health Organization, they tried very much until almost in every country now somebody decided and determined cigarette smoking is in jurisdiction and division. We’re going to influence all the various countries so that they will write it on large bead balls that if you are smoking, you are cutting short your life.

Somebody had that vision and that’s still a part of the vision. Will somebody here have a vision that when I grow up, I’m going to do everything possible legally acceptable to make sure that cigarettes, smoking and anything that is going to destroy life, I wipe it out. It’s a vision. And don’t tell me it’s impossible because people who have vision, they never think of impossibility. The vision of Joseph, the vision of Joshua, vision of Josiah, vision of Jeremiah, vision of John the Baptist, vision of Daniel, vision of John the Beloved.

Revelation 1:2: ‘’The revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave unto him to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass and his saints signified it by his angel unto his servant John, who bear record of the word of God and of the testimony of Jesus Christ and of all things that he saw.’’

And I heard the Lord saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last order sees right in a book the vision of being an author, the vision of being a writer, the vision in journalism.

You see there are many, many visions you can have. And when you have these visions, you keep on you keep your attention on that vision and you’re looking at that goal. That’s where I’m going and I’m going to get there. You will get there in Jesus’ name. Point number two believe the God of good dreams.

Everybody says believe Everybody. Say that again. Believe it’s. When you believe you’ll be able to achieve believe it, then you’ll achieve it. I want you to look at Acts 27: 25:’’ wherefore says be a good chair. I believe God that it shall be even as it was told me. Believe. I believe God it shall be even as it was told me.

Luke 1:45.: ‘’And blessed is she that believe it. The first one I read to you, that’s Paul, that’s a man. The second one is a woman, is a lady. It’s Mary. Blessed is she that believes for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.’’

Do you remember Joseph again? I swear. Do you remember Joseph again? God gave him the dream.

Let me show you this.

The dream of Joseph. Follow me.

A. God announced. He achieved it.

When God announced the dream, his brother said no, they attach each. But because he kept on believing, he achieved it, God announced it. They attacked each, he achieved it.

B. God formed it.

He found it. When God formed that dream, painted that picture, then the people said, we’ll fight it. And they fought it. But he found it. Don’t worry if the Lord has painted the picture in your mind.

God formed each, they fought each, he found it.

C. God predicted it.

They prevented each, he preserved each. When God has predicted it in your life and has said you’re going off, you’ll be a prince. You’ll be preeminent and prominent and you will get to that place of special position.

D. God predicted it.

They the enemies of progress, prevented each. Here comes a dreamer. Let us kill him and see what will become of his dream. But he preserved it.

D. God communicated it.

They contended against it. He collected it. God showed it to him and God communicated it to him. And then they contended against it. Are you going to reign over us?

Do you mean you are going to be our leader? They contended against it. But because he believed in his God, he collected it.

F. God declared it.

They despised it. He discovered it. When the Lord declared it, they said, what? Do you believe that? Do you think that is going to happen?

After God had declared it, they despised it. That’s why they sold him into Egypt. But because he believed in his God, he discovered it.

G. God expressed it.

They excluded him. He expected it. God expressed it. Joseph, I am going to favour you. I am going to bless you. I’m going to lift you up; I’m going to promote you.

And then eventually, when the people knew, they said, we’re going to exclude him from the family. We’ll drive him away and see what will become of his dream. But even though they excluded him, he kept on expecting. He expected it and he got it.

H. God revealed it.

they resisted it. He received it. Every time God shows you something and he reveals something to you, there will be people that will resist it. They’ll say no. In fact, sometimes after they have marked your papers and you come out first, they may even be deliberating each in the staff room.

Should we give it to this girl? If we give it to this girl, people will think that those who are very, very religious.

That you are going to be doing research, bring back the standards and keep the standards or it is that you are going to be a medical doctor. And it is not just I’m a doctor, there are many doctors, we are talking of doctors with distinction. We are talking of pharmacists with distinction. And then all these drugs that are outdated, all the drugs that are not working anymore, that they’re just selling in the market, that you have the dream that you will be the one that will bring back the standard in medical science.

And you will keep the standard. You understand when we’re talking about the computer system, on the internet. And they tell us that the 419 and the fraud and this and that, and all the viruses. You want to be a computer engineer, is it just to be able to operate a computer, able to put some things together?

Why don’t you become somebody that will say, my dream, my vision will be that although the computer, the internet is there, I’m going to develop a system whereby I’m going to eradicate all these frauds and the crime that they are committing over the internet. Or maybe you want to specialize in, you know, this area of medicine, the World Health Organization. organization. They tried very much. Until almost in every country now, somebody, somebody, they decided and determined, cigarette smoking is injurious to health.

And they had a vision, we’re going to influence all the various countries so that they will write it on large, big boards that if you’re smoking, you’re cutting short your life. Somebody had that vision and that’s still a part of the vision. Will somebody here have a vision that when I grow up, I’m going to do everything possible legally accessible to make sure that cigarettes smoking and anything that is going to destroy life I wipe it out.

Point 2: Believe the God of good dreams.
