CHRIST WILLING SUBMISSION AS THE PERFECT SACRIFICE

                                                   
studying from chapter John 18:1-11. “When Jesus had spoken these words, He went out with His disciples over the Brook Kidron, where there was a garden, which He and His disciples entered. 2 “And Judas, who betrayed Him, also knew the place; for Jesus often met there with His disciples”. 3 “Then Judas, having received a detachment of troops, and   officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came here with lanterns, torches, and weapons”. (Verse 4)”Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them, “Whom are you seeking?”. 5 “They answered Him, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them, “I am He.”6” And Judas, who betrayed Him, also stood with them. Now when He said to them, “I am He, ” they drew back and fell to the ground. 7 “Then He asked them again, “Whom are you seeking?” And they said, “Jesus of Nazareth.” 8″Jesus answered, “I have told you that I am He.”
“Therefore, if you seek me, let these go their way,” 9″ That the saying might be fulfilled which He spoke, “Of those whom you gave Me I have lost none.” 10″Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malthus.” 11″ So Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My Father has given Me?” Jesus spoke his word to his disciples He gave them Instruction, Revelation and Supplication. Jesus Christ instructs them in what they ought to do. It revealed the revelation to them. Also he gave them supplication (How he prayed for them). He said, when I had spoken all those things (Judas Iscariot was not there). Judas was absent through this day (John 18:10). Studying the sanctification of the believers all to the time Jesus has had been away. And what is the word Jesus Christ has spoken to them.
-Salvation (John 15:3; John 17:2) that they might have eternal life, for the benefit of Paradise.
– Separation from the world (John 18:1). He emphasized that they are kind of the people that are being saved. And He show them the only way to heaven. He wanted them to have the foundation truth of the word of God.
– Only way that leads to heaven (John 14:6).
– The evidence of the true discipleship (John 13:34). He assured them sanctification and oneness towards one another. The oneness that brings them close to the Father, Saviour… He shows them the spirit of the truth (Holy Ghost). Salvation, Sanctification and Holy Ghost Baptism (John 14:26). He teaches us how to be save, baptized by the Holy Ghost (John 14:12-14). Jesus Christ also told them the
* Unlimited power in prayer (John 18:1). This chapter is to remind us of the supplication and submission he has given unto them.

POINT 1. THE WILLFUL SIN OF AN IRREDEEMABLE PERVERT

Chapter 18 of John, revealing unto us the backsliders, reprobate and those falling away from the truth. In (John 17:2) Judas Iscariot, he became backslider. Jesus Christ, speaking on how he kept them, and pray for them (His disciples) that the scriptures might be fulfilled. The instructions that Jesus Christ has given unto them, and the word he spoke unto his disciples doesn’t come with surprise that, one of them will BETRAY HIM (It was a willful sin), son done deliberately. The sin of Judas Iscariot, the willful sin Judas has the knowledge of the truth that Jesus is the Saviour, that he is the only begotten Son of God. He rejected the grace of God verse 31 “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God”. Judas was once a believer, he had the saving truth, yet, he closes to perish

√ He loved self more than the Saviour.
√ He loved the birth more than his birthright.
√ He loved earthly gains more than eternal glory.
√ He loved gold more than godliness.
√ He loved riches more than righteousness.
√ He loved the world more than the word of God.
√ He loved the antichrists more than he love Christ..
After he committed willful sin, this is speaking about person who is making a personal goal

POINT  2. HIS WILLING SUBMISSION DESPITE HIS IRRESISTIBLE POWER
John 18:6; John 10:7; Hebrews 10:17; Philippians2:5-9; 1Corinrhians 5:7; Ephesians 5:2; Hebrews 9:26; Hebrews 10:12, 14. (1Timothy 2:6)… Philippians 2:5-9). Hebrews 9; 26) 1Corinthians 5:7).

The Lords Jesus Christ and his willing submission. He is our sanctifier, substitute and we can see the power and the prayer he had prayed for his betrayer. He had the power to destroy and to kill but instead, he voluntarily gave himself out unto them. Why? He chose to surrender himself unto them. He was only thinking of the divine submission and the purpose of why the world is created (John 10;17), the willing submission that he gave even though, he has the power of the resistance, Jesus Christ wanted the will of His Father that he will die for the whole world. He took away the old covenant so that he might establish the new covenant. He did that voluntarily (Jesus Christ humble himself, he surrendered himself for the world of humanity. He makes himself sacrifice (Emphasis the fact that Jesus Christ make himself a sacrifice unto God, he submitted himself has the sacrifice (he did all that to put away the sin of the world through the sacrifice been made by him. The reason why he was sacrifice

• He gave himself so that the world might be saved.
• He gave himself for you (Ephesians 5:25-27). That he might redeem us from all iniquity and purified us unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good work “.

POINT 3. THE WORLDLY STRUGGLE OF AN INCONSISTENT PERSON

This verse is revealing unto us on how to resist Calvary. In the life of Peter, he was
